No Cooties Travel Spray

Contains a blend of medicinal quality essential oils. When dispersed in the air, this blend can aid in the cleansing and purifying of the immediate environment. The oils’ antibacterial properties are effective against the transmission of airborne micro-organisms. These oils do not go rancid, they are natural preservatives themselves.

The Oils

Lavender spike is known for its effectiveness in relation to colds, coughs and infections.

Ravensara is a strong antiviral oil and is excellent for colds, flu and cold sores. Its properties help to relieve stress and anxiety.

Thyme linalol is a fine anti-infectious oil, it is known to be antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. It is also used to relieve mental fatigue and nervous exhaustion.

Research

Researchers at Weber State University are spraying therapeutic grade essential oils within enclosed atmospheres in controlled tests, to measure their effectiveness against various airborne, life-threatening pathogens. Spraying or diffusing essential oils (within an enclosed atmosphere like a home or airplane), effectively destroys infectious pathogens, while at the same time boosting one’s immune system.

In a Weber State study ('97/'98) with the "mission to identify which oils were effective against disease causing micro-organism".  They tested 67 oils and found "nine to most effective'.  Three of those oils make up the No Cooties blend.

The Weber State Univesity study proved conclusively that a virus or bacteria will mutate to defend itself against antibiotics, but no pathogen has ever been known to mutate when confronted with essential oils.
